Paws A Plenty Cat Rescue is commited to rehoming stray and unwanted cats. Our mission: To spay/neuter and rehome.
There is a $50.00 adoption fee for all cats. The fee covers the cost of spay/neutering and ensures that each cat is going to a home that can financially care for him/her.
Each cat is given a bath, ear mite solution, hairball remedy (during their stay with us), nail trimming, a dewormer, regular meals and shelter. Also rabies, distemper/parvo vaccines and Feline Leukemia tested. They are litter box trained and living underfoot with the two kitties seen above. We do not approve of declawing as it requires removal of actual bone often leaving the cat in severe pain and not wanting to use the litterbox. Also we prefer INDOOR rehoming ONLY! This is a safety issue. Only neutered/spayed cats are available for adoption.
The Friendship APL on Murray Ridge Road offers vaccinations every other Saturday from 1-3pm by Dr. Woods. The cats that have not already been given their vaccines when brought to us, will be given their vaccines there.
At the moment, we are unable to take in anymore cats. If there is a true emergency or need, we will try to help, but don't expect an instant solution. We'll need to hear the situation and go from there.
Our featured cat is 'Fluffles' otherwise known as The Big Boofa.
